WHO WE ARE

The Queer Muslim Project is South Asia’s largest virtual network of Queer, Muslim and allied individuals, with a growing global community of over 26K people. We use digital advocacy, storytelling and visual arts to create avenues for young people from underserved communities to express themselves, build community and forge creative collaborations.

Inviting Queer Muslim artists and creators to join our Artist Directory!

WHAT WE DO

ACCELERATING VISIBILITY AND REPRESENTATION

We amplify LGBTQIA+ Muslim voices around the world and create opportunities for self-representation and leadership for underserved artists, creators and activists.

CRAFTING THRIVING COMMUNITIES

We create safe and enabling spaces for queer Muslim identities to be affirmed through healing and survival practices that center the collective safety and holistic well-being of our communities.

QUEER-INCLUSIVE ISLAM

We work within the space of faith to nurture conversations around gender and sexuality in Islam and create greater acceptance for gender and sexual diversity within religious teachings, institutions, and communities.
